The Wind Alliance is…
- Developing community outreach for kindergarten through 12th grade regarding wind power and America’s leadership role;
- Helping universities with summer camps, course sponsorships, out-of-use equipment donations, and scholarships;
- Assisting in the development of industry safety standards;
- Coordinating members’ pre-competitive projects for new generation technology and cost reduction of wind power;
- Continuing to add new members (added 45 new members in 2009); and
- Improving our website, including member highlights, project detail, surveys, and the launch of our secure members’ portal.
There is so much more to do.
